Colors are off on the Nokia N95? Tests show the answer is undoubtedly yes

James recently saw that Paul posted a few pictures with his Nokia N95 from his recent trip to the beach.
He noted that Paul’s pictures had a red tint to them; going so far as to say that the images are "from mars." He posted a color corrected version and proved his point rather well.
Since he is using a Mac I’m assuming the color correction was done with iPhoto or Photoshop. Let us know James!
Being a Windows user, I downloaded Google’s Picasa (freeware) to see if I could get similar results.
Are you familiar with Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s "I’m feeling lucky" button? It automatically takes you the first result of your search. They have the same thing in Picasa:
All I did was take a few pictures from around the net, all taken on a Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95, imported them in to Picasa, hit "I’m feeling lucky," and the results speak for themselves.
Let’s start with Paul’s picture of the beach:

What can we conclude?
The Nokia N95 needs better onboard post processing.
If you have a Nokia camera phone, then do yourself a favor and use a post processing tool to correct your colors.
Can the N Series team comment on this? Can you explain the distorted colors? Can it be fixed with firmware?
UPDATE: One more image. This is the second picture Paul took:

Very nicely done, I’m sure it’s just a pre production model issue . . . It had better be!!
For the record - I used iPhoto.
